The number one reason advisors stop creating content isn’t time. It’s the blank screen.
You sit down to write something for LinkedIn or draft a newsletter, and the first question hits: what do I even write about? Then, assuming you figure that out, the second question: how do I start it? And by the time you’ve answered both of those, you’ve burned 30 minutes and you haven’t written a single sentence yet.
The Content Generator solves that problem by breaking content creation into three choices.
You pick a topic. You pick a hook or subject line. The Skill writes the rest in your voice. If you want content for another platform, you say so and it writes that too without making you start over.
What the Content Generator Does
This is the fourth Amplify for Advisors Skill, and it’s the one you’ll probably use the most.
You tell it who you serve and what’s going on in your clients’ world right now. It generates 10 topic ideas specific to your niche and your clients. You pick one (or bring your own). Then it generates 10 hooks or subject lines depending on your platform. You pick one (or bring your own). Then it writes the finished piece in your voice.
The whole thing works for four platforms: newsletters, LinkedIn posts, Facebook posts, and Substack Notes (which is essentially the same as X/Twitter Posts). You pick the platform at the start and the Skill adapts everything: the topic ideas, the hook style, the length, the tone, and the formatting.
Why This Skill Matters
Most advisors using AI for content are starting from a blank prompt every time. They type something like “write a LinkedIn post about why Roth conversions matter” and get back something that could have been written by any advisor on the internet. The topic is too broad, the opening is generic, and the voice is wrong.
The Content Generator fixes all three problems in sequence. The topic ideas are specific to your niche (not “why retirement planning matters” but “why physicians in their first five years need a different estate plan than they think”). The hooks are built to stop the scroll on the platform you chose. And every word runs through your Voice Template so the output sounds like you wrote it.
How It Connects to the Amplify Skills System
If you’ve been following along, you now have access to a connected system:
The Voice Training Skill builds your foundation. Every Skill reads from the Voice Template it creates.
The Niche Authority Scanner tells you what to write about. It researches your niche and produces a prioritized content plan.
The Content Generator writes it. Take a topic from the Scanner’s plan (or your own idea) and turn it into a finished piece for any platform.
The Content Recycler distributes it. Take the piece you just created and extract it into posts for every other platform you use.
Each Skill’s output feeds the next Skill’s input. The Scanner tells you what to write. The Generator writes it. The Recycler distributes it. Your Voice Template ties it all together.
That’s not four separate tools. That’s a content production system.
What It Creates
Depending on which platform you choose:
Client Newsletter — A 300 to 500 word newsletter focused on one idea, with a subject line, written for clients who already trust you. Warm, educational, personal.
LinkedIn Post — A 150 to 300 word post with a strong opening hook that passes the Picture Test. Short paragraphs, professional but conversational.
Facebook Post — A 200 to 400 word post with a warmer, more personal tone. Stories and observations work well here.
Substack Notes (X/Twitter Post) — Under 280 characters. Sharp, standalone, punchy. One thought that works completely on its own.
The Batch Feature
Here’s the part that saves you the most time. After the Skill writes and saves your first piece, it asks: “Want to create content for another platform using the same topic?”
Say yes and it skips the setup entirely. It keeps your niche context and topic, jumps straight to hooks for the new platform, and writes the next piece. You can create a LinkedIn post, two Substack Notes, a client newsletter, and a Facebook post all in one session without re-answering a single question.
Do it all in one sitting for multiple platforms all in your voice.
Setup Instructions
The Content Generator installs the same way as the previous Skills.
If you already have Claude Desktop and Cowork set up, skip to the install steps below.
If this is your first Skill:
Download Claude Desktop at claude.com/download (available for Mac and Windows). Install and open the app, then sign in with your Claude account. Click the Cowork tab at the top center of the screen to confirm it’s working.
Installing the Content Generator:
Click the sidebar icon at the top left if you don’t see the sidebar menu.
In the left sidebar, click Customize.
Hit the + button next to Personal Plugins.
Press Upload Plugin.
Upload the zip folder you downloaded below.
Mac users: If your download auto-extracts into a folder, right-click the folder, select “Compress,” and upload the new .zip file.
How to Use It
Switch to the Cowork tab. Make sure the Content Generator plugin is active in your sidebar.
Point Cowork to your Claude-Work folder (or wherever you keep your Voice Template).
Then just tell it you want to create content. Something like “help me create content” or “I need something to post” or even “I don’t know what to write.” The Skill walks you through three questions:
Who do you serve?
What’s going on in your clients’ world right now?
What platform are you creating for?
Then it gives you 10 topic ideas. You pick one. It gives you 10 hooks or subject lines. You pick one. It writes the piece. You review it, request changes if anything feels off, and it saves the final version.
If you already know what you want to write about, skip the ideas step. Just tell the Skill your topic and it jumps to hooks. If you have a topic and a hook already, tell it both and it goes straight to writing.
One More Thing
The Skill re-reads your Voice Template before writing every single draft. If your template says you never use bullet point lists, the first draft won’t have bullet points. If it says you never stack short sentences in a row, the first draft won’t stack them. If it has a list of words you never use, those words won’t show up.
That might sound like a small detail, but it means you spend less time editing and more time reviewing content that already sounds like you. The goal is for the first draft to be close enough that your edits are about preference, not about fixing AI patterns.
The System So Far
Voice Training builds your foundation. The Niche Authority Scanner tells you what to write about. The Content Generator writes it. The Content Recycler distributes it.
Four Skills but built as one connected system. More are coming, and each one plugs into what’s already here.
If you run into any issues during setup or while using the Skill, reply to this email and I’ll help you through it.
You’ve got something to say, and this Skill makes sure you actually say it.
